Community Responsibilities of the Sheriff’s Posse

Chuck Scroggs of Rockwall, Texas has spent nearly nine years as the president of Southwest Scaffolding, LLC in Rowlett. He has also served as president of both C and D Commercial Services, Inc. and C and D Commercial Masonry, Inc. since 1995. Beyond his business leadership activities, Charles “Chuck” Scroggs also spends time engaging with community various groups throughout the Rockwall, Texas, area, including the Sheriff’s Posse.

The Sheriff’s Posse is a not for profit organization providing direct support to the County Sheriff’s office and all related services and functions. Common duties observed by the Sheriff’s Posse range from providing traffic control at community sporting events to riding horseback in numerous annual parades throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth area.

Perhaps most impressively, the Sheriff’s Posse takes responsibility for every abandoned horse and cattle found throughout Rockwall County. Upon his acceptance, Mr. Scroggs became the 20th chartered member of the Sheriff’s Posse.
