Through his membership, Charles E. Scroggs can present issues that affect mason contractors in Rockwall County to a larger audience and connect with other professionals to develop guidance and solutions.

In existence for more than six decades, the Mason Contractors Association of America has launched several successful initiatives over the years. In the 1950s, the organization created the MCAA Show, which highlighted the value of membership in the association by allowing mason contractors from all over the nation to showcase their skills. Over the course of the next decade, the organization established standards and practices for activities like cold weather masonry. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers adopted that particular standard. The association continues its history of success in the present and has expanded recruitment of young people into the masonry field to strengthen the profession nationwide.
